Tonight, really bowled over by Swallow the Sun's "Plague of Butterflies." Pretty much doom metal perfection. Slow and serene mix of melancholic beauty and measured ferocity. Elegant and poetic imagery. A soul's outpouring.

The world isn't right. Doom metal is the great lament.
